Modernism & Post-modernism

Modernism can be defined as any cultural movement rooted in the changes in Western society in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. This era was where imagesd became more real than the real.
Post-Modernism describes describes movements which both arise from, and react against or reject, trends in modernism. Its the distinction between high and low culture through the use of industrial materials and pop culture imagery.

New Coke vs. Coca Cola

Coca Cola was first establisted in 1955. The Coca Cola company grew bigger and bigger into a major corporation. The rise in popularity was due to the association of the Coa cola Brand with Santa Clause. Around the mid 1980's Coca Cola relassed a "New Coke." This new coke was a completely different flavor and design of the coke brand.

However, Sortly after its release a major uproar occurred calling for coke to return to its original formula and profits of Coca Cola declined greatly. After, Coca Cola changed back to its original formula and profits skyrocked

TOday, Coca Cola has came out with new advertising strategies to help with proifits. Coke has put Six Flags cupons on their cans to help saled. Additionally, Coke has came out with different varieties of Coca Cola, such as Diet Coke, cherry coke, C2, with still producing its original formula.
