Modernism & Post-modernism

Modernism can be defined as any cultural movement rooted in the changes in Western society in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. This era was where imagesd became more real than the real.
Post-Modernism describes describes movements which both arise from, and react against or reject, trends in modernism. Its the distinction between high and low culture through the use of industrial materials and pop culture imagery.
