CULTURAL CONTEXTS IN ADVERTISING #2
This is one of the many promotional ads by Apple. It suggests consumers should "Think Differently," meaning go against the norm of people buying PCs.The image of Gandhi reinforces the idea of thinking differently. Gandhi lead a movement attempting to gain freedom from British control, and think differently about what was right rather than accepting colonialism.
